Beatriz Recari from Pamplona in Spain is likely to make her debut for the European Solheim Cup team in August. All 24-members of the U.S. and European teams will be named by their respective captains following the conclusion of the RICOH Women’s British Open at 7.45pm on Sunday evening.
Recari is experiencing her most successful ever year having recorded her third LPGA victory at the 2013 Marathon Classic in July, which was her second win of the season after the Kia Classic in March. This is the first season in Beatriz’s four-year career she has earned two wins in one year and she has had had 3 additional top-10s this season. Prior to this she earned her first victory at the 2009 Finnair Masters on the Ladies European Tour.

When did you last cry and why? On my second win in the LPGA this season, It was very emotional and it is very satisfying to see how hard quality work pays off.

Favourite fashion item: An elegant pair of Stilettos, they always give you a sense of sophistication whether it is during the day or by night.
Biggest extravagance: A Birkin bag. I must say it felt much better when it was a present for my mother for my first LPGA win.
How would you spend your perfect day? A perfect day would be a day at home with no phone or internet and surrounded by family and friends.
Any superstitions? I do not wear yellow on the golf course!
